Velhice e marginalidade:
a narrativa da experiência sucateada em Lembrancinha do Adeus, de Julio Ludemir
Abstract
Ao tratar do tema velhice, a literatura debruça-se sobre o que a sociedade de consumo descarta, como em Lembrancinha do Adeus, de Julio Ludemir. Nesse romance, um velho marginal tenta contar sua história a um menino. Mediante a relação dialógica estabelecida entre as personagens, analisa-se a representação do velho como detentor de um conhecimento, embora sucateado. A partir dessa perspectiva, discute-se a impossibilidade de uma experiência que se possa ao mesmo tempo ter e fazer. O velho narrador de Ludemir traz à discussão preconceitos e estereótipos sobre o que é ser velho e jovem, ser criminoso ou pobre, num local impregnado daquilo que constitui a identidade do marginal favelado, ao mesmo tempo em que tece um discurso crítico quanto à substituição da história pela notícia.
