The article is based on the hypothesis that the panorama of Brazilian poetry has been undergoing relevant transformations in recent years, mainly due to the impact of the political, economic, and social crisis that marked the country’s recent past. Historical events such as the June Days, in 2013, the troubled process of Dilma Rousseff’s deposition, in 2016, and the electoral triumph of the far right, in 2018, had resonances in the cultural field, bringing to poetic production a desire of public participation — an interest that seemed mitigated in previous decades. The discussion of this phenomenon is particularized in this work through a panoramic reading of the collection Golpe: antologia-manifesto, seeking to consider relevant marks of the work, such as collective work, the absence of a guiding aesthetic program and the eminently testimonial marks of the poems in the book.
