Le Le croquis comme méthode de recherche en design

Cet article examine l’utilisation du croquis comme méthode de recherche en design, en mettant en évidence sa capacité à articuler observation, analyse et imagination dans des enquêtes de terrain. Bien que traditionnellement associé à la synthèse créative, le croquis est revalorisé comme dispositif méthodologique pour la documentation, l’interprétation et la production de données dans le projet de design. À partir d’une revue de littérature, sont analysées des expériences pédagogiques ayant intégré le croquis à la pratique de la recherche en design. Les résultats indiquent que la flexibilité et l’adaptabilité du croquis permettent la création de systèmes hybrides de représentation combinant des éléments visuels, textuels et symboliques, favorisent la production collaborative de données et stimulent des interprétations non linéaires, évitant les fixations prématurées sur des problèmes complexes. Il en ressort que l’adoption du croquis dans l’enseignement de la recherche en design renforce l’acuité d’observation, la sensibilité aux aspects contextuels et la résolution de problèmes, tout en élargissant le répertoire méthodologique et en consolidant la formation de designers-chercheurs prêts à affronter des contextes complexes et exigeants.
