Abstract

With the advancement and dissemination of digital manufacturing technologies, the methods of designing and producing have undergone significant transformations. This article, based on a master's research that starts from a practical case study in the production of Flat Pack designs for local marketing, presents a qualitative approach that integrates theoretical review and experimental analysis through digital prototyping and simulations. The objective is to generate design guidelines that promote more sustainable practices in digital manufacturing, aligned with the principles of Ecodesign. The results obtained highlight the potential of digital manufacturing to offer innovative products and systems that reduce environmental impacts, optimize the use of materials and promote productive efficiency.
