Abstract

The present article analyzes the coexistence of nationals, community and European foreign policy models in Europe, since the establishment of European integration until the recent changes of Lisbon Treaty. The last one represents the consolidation of a European and supranational diplomacy, through the creation of the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and of the European External Action Service, both autonomous from intergovernmental institutions.
