O programa nuclear brasileiro entre passado e futuro

Abstract

This article deals with the history of the Brazilian nuclear program between 1947 and nowadays. Through an accurate use of recently declassified primary sources, the article demonstrated that  the long-term goal of Brazil was to have a full command of nuclear energy. Furthermore, the role of the international cooperation for the development of nuclear energy in Brazil will be highlighted.
