Brasil e Alemanha: os brasileiros de origem alemã na construção de uma parceria histórica

Abstract

The presence of ethnic minorities inside the territory of a certain country uses to cause some type of influence on the relations between this country and the country of origin of this particular minority. Here it is analyzed a possible positive and negative influence of the presence of German descendents in Brazil on the relations with Germany, during a certain time period. The analysis extends from the second half of the 19th century to World War II, and includes the attempt to verify how this topic was seen by the relevant historiography.
