Sistema Inteligente de Monitoramento de Vagas com Comunicação Serial Arduino-ESP32

This article presents the development and experimental validation of a physical prototype for intelligent monitoring of parking spaces, implementing serial communication between Arduino Uno and ESP32 microcontroller boards. The system integrates ultrasonic and infrared sensors for vehicle detection, triggering visual and audible signals in real time. Data are transmitted via UART, enabling integrated analysis and control. Bench tests demonstrated an accuracy rate of approximately 95%, stable communication, and fast sensor response. The project demonstrates practical feasibility, low implementation cost, and potential application in small and medium-sized parking facilities, with a modular architecture that supports scalability to a larger number of parking spaces.
