Cadastramento de usuários em biblioteca universitária utilizando microcomputador

Abstract

An automated system of library users registration was created for the utilization of services offered by libraries at the Federal University of Paraná. It was developed in compiled Dbase III for 16 bits microcomputers (PCs). Data collected from users, files, procedures and print products are described. The system has been helpful for full understanding of the university community interaction with the library system, bringing meaningful insights about real and potencial users.
