The experience of ‘Revista de Biblioteconomia de Brasília’ in the internet, a case in study

Abstract

Describe the migration experience of Revista de Biblioteconomia de Brasília, one of the pioneering publications in the area of Librarianship and Information Science in Brazil. The work is part of a study about electronic publications as a channel of extensive communication for the scientific community. In the last five years the electronic publications became fears of research in exponential growth, phenomenon that reflects the researchers' emerging interest, also confirming the dynamic nature of the Information Science, with decisive influence of technology.
