Analisa o uso da coleção de periódicos da Biblioteca Central da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB), concernente aos Departamentos do Centro de Ciências Sociais Aplicadas (CCSA), no período de jan./jul. de 1983. Verifica o crescimento ou o decréscimo da coleção e estabelece o núcleo de periódicos mais utilizados por Departamento.
