Abstract

This paper describes some vulnerability situations suffered by children under treatment, setting out the circumstances that leads to vulnerability increase. Discusses the ethical unprepare of institutions, of health profession- als and even of parents to deal with children under this condition, concerning the right for information or even to the right related to therapeutic decision. This study also emphasizes that, because of their biological, reflexive, ethical, social and affective immaturity, children are deeply dependent and weak, prone to become victims of disrespect to the rights associated to their real condition of human being.
