Abstract

The following article aims to be an introduction to the first moment of the intellectual trajectory of Jacques Lacan by studying his assimilation of the thought of Georges Politzer. This will be mainly done in a critical approximation of two central works: the PhD thes is of Lacan (Paranoid psychosis in their relationship with personality) and the Critic of the fundaments of psychology of Politzer. From them there will be a theoretical and philosophical study in search of the foundations that led Lacan's critique of the organicism and the mental automatism that belong to the abstractionism of the classical psychology of that time. It focuses the path to the concrete psychology based on the phenomenon of personality. Meanwhile, this piece of work will introduce the broad theme that pervades Lacan's first contact with Freudian psychoanalysis, without leaving aside the philosophical questions towards this issue.
