O regionalismo como outro
Abstract
Este artigo identifica alguns caminhos para investigar a construção do discurso crítico do Regionalismo. Em um primeiro momento, é feita a análise de como alguns de nossos principais críticos como Afrânio Coutinho, Lucia Miguel-Pereira, Alfredo Bosi e Antonio Candido definiram e estudaram o Regionalismo em suas histórias da literatura brasileira. A questão parece resvalar para a dicotomia entre nação ”“ literatura nacional e região ”“ e literatura regional. Mais recentemente, Roberto Schwarz e Bosi indicam, cada qual a seu modo, outro caminho para se pensar a questão que passa pela oposição entre elite/excluídos.
