Nos cruzamentos entre a literatura e as primeiras paisagens artísticas das Américas, a partir de Frans Post e dentro da concepção da Filosofia da paisagem, de Georg Simmel, busca-se pensar as pontes entre as paisagens de avião em Flávio de Carvalho, Torres-García e Tristão de Ataíde, articulando-as aos poemas de Luis Aranha sobre o voo de avião e sobre paisagens recifenses “do alto” cabralinos, resgatando pontos em comum com as cidades de Vicente do Rego Monteiro, Brennand e Osman Lins enquanto técnicos primitivos (Sarlo, 1992), para observar jogos desmontáveis, geométricos, deslocamentos distantes e próximos no poema e, em específico, no romance Avalovara, na representação novelesca de uma modernidade tardia.
