The objective of this article is to present an ecolinguistic conceptual model as a proposal for an ecolinguistic understanding, based on the General Systems Theory (BERTALANFFY, 1976) resignifying the concept of oikos in the ecolinguistic theory (COUTO, 2007) and considering a cultural archetype as an anchor for the ecolinguistic interpretation.
