About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The focus of the journal is language phenomena from the perspective of the ecological view of the world, which means looking at language as interaction between people (communicative interaction) in a context and between them and the world (reference). This includes not only relationships at the social level but also at the mental and natural levels, since ecosystemic linguistics sees language as a biopsychosocial phenomenon, both exoecologically and endoecologically.

Peer Review Process

Texts submitted to ECO-REBEL with a view to publication will be initially evaluated by the Chief Editor, regarding the relevance of the subject matter, that is, whether it is in accordance with the journal's objectives and norms. After this preliminary phase, they will be sent to three members of the Scientific Committee for their opinion on their acceptance or not. Texts approved by at least two members will be published. There may be a request for content revision and, above all, of form, before the final acceptance. In the event of a very large discrepancy in the evaluations, the Chief Editor may request additional reviews, keeping an odd number of opinions, in order to avoid a tie.
