Abstract

Critical review for the play As Comadres, adaptation of Les Belles-Soeurs by Michel Tremblay (1965), libretto and staging by René Richard Cyr (2010), music by Daniel Bélanger (2010), musical direction by Wladimir Pinheiro, and artistic supervision by Ariane Mnouchkine. The play had its premié€re on March 27, 2019 at the Curitiba Festival. It was performed on March 27th and 28th at the GuairinhaTheater (Rua 15 de Novembro, 971, Curitiba), from April 11th to June 2nd at the Sesc Ginástico Theater (Avenida Graça Aranha 187, Rio de Janeiro), from 05th to July 28th at the Anchieta Theater of Sesc Consolação (Rua Doctor Vila Nova, 245, São Paulo) and on October 19th and 20th at the São Pedro Theater (Marechal Deodoro Square, s / n, Porto Alegre).
