Abstract

O objetivo deste texto é articular três tríades presentes nas Enéadas de Plotino - 1. os três tipos de homem: o músico, o amante e o filósofo; 2. os três homens: o homem sensível, o homem racional e a Forma do Homem; 3. as faculdades, capacidades ou potências da alma: a de desejar, a de perceber ou de sentir e a de raciocinar ou faculdade discursiva - a fim de esclarecer as condições ou pressupostos da ascensão do homem ao Uno mediante as vias do músico, do amante e do filósofo. Analisamos como esses homens utilizam as potências da alma para voltarem ao Uno e, por conseguinte, propomos delimitar as diferenças entre os homens e suas capacidades para tanto.
