Abstract

The goal of this article is to understand how USA was constraint to leave use the zeroing for calcite anti-dumping measures. Anti-dumping measures serve as compensation obtaining advantages caused by the use of dumping. The method used for calculating the anti-dumping measures is relevant and has been the target of international challenges as the European Union and the United States used a method that favors the appearance of dumping, zeroing. But with the first sentence of the method by the WTO, the European Union fails to use it and is embarrassment to the US that became the only state to use it.
