The internationalization of populism in the Ukraine war: Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the use of Twitter

Since the beginning of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky has gained millions of followers on social media. Part of this popularity is due to the portrayal of the Ukrainian leader as someone willing to risk his life for his people. The objective of this study is to relate the concept of populism through the analysis of government agency posts in February, March, and April 2022.
