Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável: uma transformação no debate científico do desenvolvimento?

Resumo

Como a sustentabilidade ambiental permeou o debate político-acadêmico sobre desenvolvimento e quais temas ainda permanecem em discussão no âmbito dos objetivos do desenvolvimento sustentável (ODS)? A partir de uma revisão de literatura interdisciplinar, esse trabalho apresenta uma trajetória dos estudos de desenvolvimento, culminando nos ODS. De uma perspectiva técnica e unidimensional, a partir de uma janela de oportunidade do pós-Guerra Fria, o debate caminhou para uma abordagem multidimensional e transversal, envolvendo as esferas social e ambiental. No entanto, críticos questionam se os ODS representam uma agenda legítima e implementável, considerando todos os reveses das políticas internacional e doméstica.
