Resumo

In general, Solid-Fluid interaction problems are too complex to be solved analytically. Then, these problems are analysed by experiments or numerical solutions. Since experiments in flow Mach 0.9 is too expensive, numerical simulations seem to be the best tool to assess it. In this sense, this project the fluid-structure interaction (FSI) problem will be illustrated using the AGARD 445.6 wing, which its experiment has been widely studied. The main objective of the present study is to perform a validation on a FSI simulation of this wing at Mach 0.9 and study aeroelastic properties using ANSYS-CFX. Since FSI deform structure of the wing and the flow around it, this study involves mesh deformation and a large number of iterations.
