Agroecología y servicios ecosistémicos en el contexto latinoamericano: una revisión sistemática

Este estudio presenta los resultados de una revisión sistemática de la literatura sobre agroecología y agroecosistemas sostenibles, centrada en garantizar la seguridad alimentaria y mantener los servicios ecosistémicos en América Latina. Se analizaron 26 artículos de la base de datos Scopus centrados en prácticas agroecológicas y servicios ecosistémicos. Los resultados revelaron un creciente interés por el tema de la agroecología, especialmente en Brasil. Los temas tratados en los artículos incluían la seguridad alimentaria frente al cambio climático, la conservación de la biodiversidad y la gestión sostenible de la tierra. Se concluye que los agroecosistemas sostenibles desempeñan un papel crucial en el mantenimiento de las funciones y servicios de los ecosistemas, contribuyendo así a alcanzar las metas de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible establecidos por la ONU en la Agenda 2030.
