This work aimed at assessing the effect of aqueous extracts of leaves of neem, Azadirachta indica, fruits of hot pepper, Capsicum frutescens, stems and leaves of Mormodica charantia, seeds of black pepper, Piper nigrum and NeenMax® (2% neem oil) for management of aphid, Lipaphis erysimi, in organic crops of Brassica oleracea. Extracts at 10% (v/v) were weekly applied for five weeks. The number of infested plants, percentages of infested leaves and the date of initial infestation were registered at different days after planting (DAP). The treatments did not reduce the population of aphid, L. erysimi, in broccoli crop in organic system.
