A construção de indicadores para avaliação da qualidade do espaço urbano no Distrito Federal do Brasil

Abstract

This research aims to contribute to sustainable urban planning in the identification of infra-urban dynamics incorporated in the local landscape. Therefore, we seek to the theoretical founda-tion from scientific instruments are built and thus indicators that assess the quality of the urban landscape in urban areas of the Federal District of Brazil from its formed elements of the con-figuration of urban spaces and, consequently, regional. In this context, the application of indica-tors as a guideline from the attributes of quality urban environment serve as the framework for analysis, which aims at understanding spatial el-ements often understandable and perceptible to the senses, trying to interpret the space as well as from different fronts analysis. The final object is made up of a systemic product and method-ology, a table of scores of urban sustainability indicators, sub-indicators and attributes, which allows it to be applied in different urban land-scapes, seeing the promotion of new forms and models of thinking and propose the design and planning of sustainable cities.
