Abstract
Tradição. Até que ponto esta palavra, que remete a transmissão de saberes, transferência, linhagem, pode contribuir para pensar um significado em torno das culturas afro-indígenas do Brasil? Em um país que passou por um processo de apagamento das culturas africanas e indígenas em seu território, através da violência física e epistêmica, a literatura transforma-se em um processo de encontro acerca das tradições dos povos que sofreram e ainda sofrem com a colonialidade. No primeiro romance da escritora Luciany Aparecida, a linhagem apresenta-se não como uma história de heranças masculinas de sangue e poder, mas como um fio que une uma família de mulheres marcadas pela violência, mas também pela resistência. É sobre uma tradição de luta que a narrativa de Mata Doce (2023) fala.
