A noção mítica de justiça esbarra em dificuldades e equívocos, mas pode ser resgatada pelo exame das características e dos elementos próprios ao pensamento mítico e de sua coerência interna tal como se documenta na Teogonia de Hesíodo. No teatro de Eurípides, a noção de justiça permanece pensada e determinada no interior do repertório tradicional de imagens e de noções, documentado na Teogonia de Hesíodo. Nos Diálogos de Platão, a noção filosófica de justiça exibe traços comuns da paradigmática noção mítica de justiça e esses traços comuns configuram a homologia estrutural entre as noções mítica e a filosófica de justiça.
