Mikhail Bakhtin e a cultura grega antiga

Este ensaio analisa a contribuição do conhecimento da cultura grega da Antiguidade para a formação do pensamento de Mikhail Bakhtin. Demonstra como o diálogo socrático e os gêneros sério-cômicos contribuíram para o formação do gênero romance ”“ na concepção de Bakhtin ”“ pelo desenvolvimento da linhagem carnavalizada desse gênero. Conclui que, embora não seja propriamente um helenista, Bakhtin contribui para os estudos da Grécia Antiga, ao explorar a criatividade literária do período helenístico.
