Resumo

RESUMO - Este artigo faz uma revisão da literatura corrente sobre a Teoria das Minorias Ativas (TMA), de Serge Moscovici, organizando-a como um corpo teórico integrado. Para a contextualização histórico-analítica, situa a TMA na área da influência social, procedendo a uma análise sobre os modelos funcionalista e genético que estão na base das interpretações teóricas. Enfoca, então, a constituição da TMA em termos de seus pressupostos, categorias explicativas, campo de pesquisa e desenvolvimento.
