Górgias e o Górgias de Platão
Abstract
O texto acha-se dividido em três partes. A primeira ensaia uma brevíssima síntese sobre a obra de Górgias, chamando atenção para a influência que o sofista exerce tanto sobre a Retórica, como disciplina, quanto sobre a filosofia platónica. A segunda e terceira partes concentram-se na análise, ensaiada de perspectivas divergentes, do elenchos a que é submetido no diálogo platónico de que é epónimo. O objectivo da interpretação proposta é mostrar como Platão usa os planos dramático e argumentativo para refutar Górgias, deixando ao leitor pistas que lhe permitirão resgatar a dignidade do sofista.Downloads
